“Roter Baum” Berlin UG (haftungsbeschänkt) is nongovernmental organisation is founded 2011 by “Roter Baum” e.V. and is running all projects of “Roter Baum” organization network in Berlin city, mostly in Hellersdorf district. Several youth participation projects, youth culture projects, projects for political education and international youth exchanges was implemented by Roter Baum Berlin. The main reason for continuing working on EVS project for us is, that we believe for the youngsters from our district it is important to get international experiences and improve their intercultural knowledge.

The volunteers, coordinated and supported by the staff, will participate in these activities:

  • Administrative activities of past, current as well as future projects, projects applications development, monitoring of projects reporting of projects, communication with partner organizations, individuals, volunteers as well as other stakeholders, maintenance as well as development of Roter Baum and ORA Network (hosted by Roter Baum) web pages, Facebook pages, linked profile, twitter…
  • Info days are part of regular activities at the project as well as support in the implementation of international projects and other projects or other Roter Baum departments (intersectional support).

The profile of the ideal volunteer is:

  • patient,
  • motivated,
  • goal-focused,
  • team player,
  • independent. 

The travel costs will be reimbursed up to a certain amount allocated by the European Commission; accommodation and food are provided by the host organization. The volunteer will also receive pocket money monthly.
