European Voluntary Service in the Czech Republic in a Family Centre/kids club

Project description
We offer a long term volunteering (12 month) to volunteers in order to have enough time for relationship building, language learning, developing a personal project and planning follow-up projects between the Czech, Armenian and the Slovenian youth groups.
The volunteers involved in this project will learn how to work together during a 6-month long period of their mutual service. He/she will also learn well how to transmit the knowledge to the fresh volunteer for the next 6 months period.
The volunteers are going to use non-formal teaching methods, arts, sports and outdoor activities. Their personal creative gifts to take part on the Family center / kids club activities and join the teams of the Family center youth volunteering group.
The project 2IN1 aims to include TWO EVS volunteer in the activities of the Family center in Usti nad Orlici. The volunteers will work with preschool kids in the Family center and aid in running a kids club for white and Roma kids from dysfunctional families.
The travel costs will be reimbursed up to a certain amount allocated by the European Commission. Accommodation and food are provided by the host organization. As for the volunteers, we rent a room with shared kitchen and bathroom, not far from the Family center. Participant will share the room with the other participant in the activity for the time of shared service (6 months).
Participant will prepare his/her meals on his/her own or together with roommates. In addition, the volunteer will also receive a pocket money monthly and language courses with health insurance will be covered during the entire European Voluntary Service time.
The requirements for this international volunteer position are:
- first volunteer stays between 01.06.2017- 31.05.2018
- second volunteer stays between: 01.12.2017- 30.11.2018
- the love to the children/youth
- having joy from volunteering work.
- bringing its own new fresh ideas and creativity into the life of the Family center and the kid´s club is very welcome.
