European Voluntary Service in France for a year promoting Europe and mobility

Project description
This European Voluntary Service project is articulated around the hosting of 3 volunteers on 3 different structures from the urban area of Tarbes; the Foyer des Jeunes Travailleurs of Tarbes, the Youth Service of the town of Tarbes and the Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture of Aureilhan. This 3 Youth structures welcome different public between 3 and 30 years old.
The volunteers will be a member; one for each structure, of the team of animation. The goal of the project is to value the European citizenship, mobility and intercultural exchanges. To do it so, we want to inform the public as widely as possible. First of all that of the host organizations, to widen then to all the young people of the urban area.
The activities envisaged : Animation of the children or the young people according to the structures, administartive tasks in connection with the projects of animation or the functioning of the structure, participation in the team meetings, participation in the local exhibitions to promote Europe and ERASMUS+ program.
The travel costs will be reimbursed up to a certain amount allocated by the European Commission. Accommodation and food are provided by the host institution. The volunteer will live at the Foyer des jeunes travailleurs. The volunteer will also receive a pocket money monthly. Concerning the transport during the EVS the City of Tarbes will propose to the volunteer one reduction card for the train and one free bus card.
The requirements for this European Voluntary Service position are:
- we welcome a volunteer with relational abilities, creative and dynamic,
- would like to work in a team,
- we will prefer a really motivated person and interested into animation with young people from 11 to 25,
- willing to take the initiative,
- helps the team to propose news activities.
